A Day in the Life at Joyology: Behind the Scenes of a Cannabis Retail Empire


Morning Kickoff

The day begins with a quick team huddle, where we go over the day’s priorities and any special promotions or events happening at our various locations. As the assistant manager, I make sure everyone is on the same page and ready to tackle whatever challenges may come our way.

From there, it’s a whirlwind of activity. I split my time between our Marijuana Delivery hub in Reading, MI, where orders are carefully packaged and dispatched, and our flagship Marijuana Provisioning Center in Quincy, MI, where customers can browse our extensive selection of premium cannabis products.

Serving the Community

One of the most rewarding aspects of working at Joyology is the opportunity to interact with our diverse customer base. Whether it’s a first-time recreational user seeking guidance or a seasoned connoisseur looking for something special, we take pride in offering a personalized experience.

Throughout the day, I bounce between our different locations, ensuring operations are running smoothly and addressing any issues that may arise. From coordinating inventory and restocking shelves to providing customer support and training new employees, no two days are ever the same.

Evening Wind-Down

As the day winds down, I take a moment to catch my breath and reflect on the day’s successes and challenges. It’s a fast-paced environment, but one that I thrive in. Knowing that we’ve helped countless individuals find the right products to enhance their well-being or simply unwind after a long day is incredibly fulfilling.

Before heading home, I touch base with the night crew, ensuring they’re prepared for the evening rush at our Recreational Marijuana Store in Burton, MI. With a final check-in and a few words of encouragement, I bid farewell until tomorrow, already looking forward to the next exciting day at Joyology.
